The NFL doesn’t have the advanced PS Schemes of College but it’s starting to change. Even in this fractured, watered down version changes are a happenin’. Bill Belichick is the best of a conservative lot.

MY PREDICTION:

No matter what happens the night of January 12, 2015, Power Spread football will have cemented itself as a lasting paradigm shift in the game of football.

By 2020 PS will have “spread” across the NFL.

By 2040 the game may not even look like the game you are watching today.

2050 – Hopefully the thoughts of Expansive Flexible Variety will bring down Lines & Barriers not only in Sport, but in the World at Large!

TODAY POWER SPREAD WINS  TOMORROW EVERYONE WINS!

PREGAME

new-york-snow-storm
First Florida, now California. Lucky all you at the game. 🙂 Everyone still stuck in the snow in the Northeast. I’m still in Pittsburgh. Temps heading below 0 tonight. 1 degree currently!

This may not be the day that the Power Spread officially makes it’s statement as FSU has loads of talent and an unusual Freshman QB. Add in a great up and comer, Defensive Coordinator Jeremy Pruitt, plus the near flawless execution the Noles have shown all year and this may be a difficult day for Auburn (Read More).

Still, never underestimate the Power Spread. Malzahn’s offense can score against anyone, regardless of talent. If Auburn can stay close – they have the experience as FSU hasn’t had any close games. The question will be Can Auburn Stay Close?

NO MATTER, IF ITS NOT THIS YEAR ITS NEXT YEAR, AND THE NEXT, AND THE NEXT.
POWER SPREAD IS HERE TO STAY!

PRE GAME

What’s Drew doing?

Racing to finish his Football Preview on Power Spread to go meet  Kurt for the game!

.

What’s Kurt doing?

Waiting for Drew at Stout NYC near Madison Garden. New home for the Buckeye Faithful to watch the games on Saturday. That’s right, Kurt is no longer AWOL!

.

What’s Mike doing?

Trying to stop me from posting about what he is doing every week! Actually Mike was coaching my nephew, Casimir, in his big soccer game last Saturday, while my other nephew, Casey, used his vast photography skills to take the pictures.

I have a feeling that this week, Mike is going to have to get behind Martinez and root for Nebraska in a big Saturday night showdown with Michigan. Two teams running a Power Spread Hybrid with two coaching staffs that don’t quite get the full power and potential of this idea.

,

WHAT WE SHOULD ALL BE DOING?
